I am a licensed professional counselor serving Atlanta & Cartersville. I offer therapy for individuals & couples, primarily between ages 16-45 years old.
My special interests are anxiety, adult ADHD, self esteem & relationship concerns. I can help whether you need a professional to help process emotions or with more complex clinical concerns. Worry, adult ADHD, depression, relationship struggles all have one thing in common. They are easier to manage with the right coping skills and professional support. As a culturally informed therapist, I offer a relatable approach to therapy for people of color. I use a combination of CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), ACT (acceptance & commitment) & Person Centered Therapy. I feel therapy is most helpful when it is holistic & customized for each individual. I often include creative interventions if appropriate.

My credentials: I earned a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Brenau University, and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I currently work under the supervision of a licensed professional counselor, Dr. Melanie Covert. I am a member of the ACA (American Counseling Association), LPCA Georgia, Psi Chi and I am listed on Psychology Today’s website.
PERSONAL GROWTH & FINANCIAL WELLNESS STATEMENT
I offer a sliding scale however, the majority of my sliding scale slots are full at this time, likely through the end of February 2023.
My current rates are based on household income level and range from $125-$175/ session.
My rates take into account the personal and financial capital of the aforementioned requirements of holding a clinical license and continuing my education via additional conferences/seminars.
If you are unable to afford my current rates please reach out. I can add you to a waiting list for my rating scale under $135. I can also assist with finding other options.
